Ultrasound AI (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website https://aiultrasoundphotos.com (the “Site”), our mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services immediately.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

  • Name, email address, and profile information collected via Google social login and Auth0.

Uploaded Content

  • Ultrasound images uploaded by users to generate AI-enhanced photos.
  • The options you choose for your photos, such as your baby's expected skin tone (by ethnicity), hair color, and whether the eyes or hands are visible.

Generated Content

  • AI-generated baby images, including watermarked previews and purchased images.

Payment Information

  • Web payments and refunds are processed through Stripe. In-app purchases are billed through the Apple App Store and managed with RevenueCat.
  • We do not store payment card details; they are handled directly by these processors.

Support and Refund Requests

  • When you contact support or request a refund, we collect your message, the email address associated with your order, and the purchase details needed to find and process that order.

Analytics & Tracking Data

  • Usage data through Google Analytics, Telemetry Deck (iOS only), and Facebook Pixel.

Communications Data

  • Email communications sent via Postmark.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
  • Generate and deliver AI-enhanced images, including automated quality checks of each image by AI models.
  • Fulfill purchase requests (removal of watermarks, delivery of final images).
  • Locate purchases, respond to refund requests, and process eligible refunds.
  • Perform quality control (administrators may occasionally review uploaded images).
  • Monitor and analyze usage and performance of the Services.
  • Support marketing and remarketing campaigns through analytics and tracking tools.
  • Provide customer service and respond to inquiries.

3. Image Storage and Retention

  • We retain uploaded and generated images while needed to provide the Services and make your results available. The period depends on the image's role and your account activity.
  • We also retain purchase and support records as needed to fulfill orders, handle refunds, and meet legal obligations.
  • You can request deletion of your images or account data at support@aiultrasoundphotos.com. We will handle your request in accordance with applicable law. Some records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons.

4. Future Use of Uploaded Content

We do not currently use uploaded ultrasound images for AI training. If we decide to use uploaded images for training purposes in the future, we will first obtain explicit user consent.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell or rent uploaded ultrasound images. We use service providers to operate the Services, which means uploaded images or other personal data may be processed by third parties as needed for the service:

  • Hosting and storage: Amazon Web Services (including S3) and our website hosting provider
  • AI image processing: Replicate, which runs the AI models that enhance, colorize and check your images. Through Replicate, your uploaded ultrasound, the images generated from it, and the options you chose (such as skin tone and hair color) are processed by the model providers, including OpenAI and Google, to generate and review your photos
  • Authentication: Auth0 and Google sign-in
  • Payments: Stripe (web) and the Apple App Store and RevenueCat (in-app purchases)
  • Email delivery: Postmark and Amazon Simple Email Service
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, Telemetry Deck (iOS), Facebook Pixel
  • Error monitoring: Sentry

These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide their services to us.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable. Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel who require it for business operations.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

If you are located in the EU, UK, or another region with data protection laws, you acknowledge that we may transfer your personal data to countries that do not provide the same level of protection. We will take appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data.

Our Services are intended for use by adults and parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Parents who believe their child has provided us with personal information should contact us at support@aiultrasoundphotos.com.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services or comply with legal obligations.

  • Uploaded and final images are retained for up to 6 months unless deletion is requested sooner.
  • Business records and transaction data may be retained for longer periods as required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify users by email (if available) or by posting a notice on the Site. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
